Dan Jablons worked in retail while attending the Ohio State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Production. He has worked with retailers such as Walmart, Target, JC Penney, American Apparel, Betsey Johnson, Donna Karan, Jimmy Choo, Charles David, Diesel, Oakley, Tumi, Hollywood Bowl, and many others. He has worked for a clothing manufacturer where he piloted vendor-managed inventory programs, a leading point-of-sale provider (where he installed systems and provided merchandising help to retailers large and small) and internet marketing (where he helped retailers establish a presence on the web.)
In addition to his vast retail background, Dan also has a background in improvisational theatre. He recently appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm, and is often seen in national commercials. Dan combines his extensive knowledge of retail with his comedy skills to become one of the industry's most popular speakers. He has spoken at Magic, Surf Expo, at local municipal and trade show events, and many other venues.

Dave Leib has been in retail for more than 15 years as an owner operator of Siany (www.siany.com), a very successful chain of women's accessory stores. For the past eight years his stores have used the same planning tools that we offer. After seeing how powerful this tool truly was, he was compelled to share his experience, knowledge and insights with other retailers. He has lived the true day-to-day experience of a retailer and really understands a retailer's concerns. David is looking for retailers who have a passion for their business and a desire to grow and generate more cash.

Originally from New York, Audrey began her career helping single store and small chains learn how to manage their businesses better by using technology. As time went on and technology improved, Audrey began to install, train, and consult with more and more retailers, including giants such as American Apparel, Charles David (Guess Shoes), Fendi, and the Staples Center in Los Angeles. As an Honors Graduate in Apparel Design & Merchandise with over 15 years of experience, she offers a vibrant and personal view of retail. Her specialized skill set includes management of employees and assets, sales development, trends and purchasing, visual merchandising, and in-depth inventory strategies for corporate and independent retailers. Nancy has worked with private retailers in California as well as opening a multi-million dollar flagship stores in Waikiki.Combining her love of fashion with the science of retail math she offers her expertise to grow and maximize revenue opportunities with a broad range of retail operations.

Kannyn January’s background is surprisingly different than you might imagine. In the early 2000s, while working on a Biochemistry degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Kannyn paid the bills by managing a California based women’s clothing boutique. However, after graduating, Kannyn quickly realized that her retail experience could grow into something quite valuable. She jumped at the opportunity to purchase the store she was managing, and 14 years later owns 4 stores up and down the California coast. Kannyn attributes much of her success to the work she’s done with the Retail Smart Guys. Kannyn is excited to share her expertise as a business owner and merchandise planner with other retailers.
